Tower Story

You may have learned about TAIPEI 101 from its outstanding firework display, which is named by international media as one of the world’s top 10 events to celebrate New Year. The 508-meter structure is located in Taiwan’s capital city – Taipei, an area where earthquakes and typhoons occur frequently, overcame the limits of architectural technology and the natural environment and to be recognized as the top of “7 Wonders of Engineering” in the world. This was not only a first for Asia, but it was also the world’s tallest when it appeared on the scene in 2004 for five years. TAIPEI 101 is a mega complex combines Eastern aesthetics and Western architecture in perfect fusion, embodying the cultural diversity as well as the beauty of Taiwan, and it consists of three major business units, including a luxuriously trendy shopping mall, a smart office tower, and a visionary observatory, drawing thousands of visitors every day. Observation Deck

TAIPEI 101 OBSERVATORY is a must for all visitors to Taipei and it is the window of Taiwan. Visitors will be taking the world’s fastest elevator to the 89F and enjoy the sight of the marvelous 660 tones Tuned Mass Wind damper in the center of the floor, in addition to fantastic panorama view of the Taipei Basin.
