Tower Story

The SkyTower (www.skytower.ro) is an icon of Bucharest. At 137 meters high, SkyTower Bucharest is the tallest building in Romania offering unique panoramic views over the entire city of Bucharest. Since its completion in December 2012, SkyTower has become an iconic city landmark, reshaping the skyline of the city.

The iconic status of the SkyTower starts at its ground floor; the tower’s main lobby features an impressive LED screen 9 meters wide and 6 meters tall broadcasting videos that keep visitors and residents hypnotized. Also in the lobby, the CAFELIER premium coffee shop experience offers the best specialty coffee in the city, plus freshly baked artisanal sweets.

Then, the high-speed elevators reaching 6 meters per second take you to the 36th floor in 30 seconds.

At the time of its completion, the SkyTower reached a record building time of only 18 months, including the 5 underground floors and the complete structure of the 37 floors above ground. The tower’s resistance structure goes 60 meters deep underground, being the deepest construction in the country. The SkyTower high construction standards make it resistant to earthquake of up to 8,6 on Richter scale.

Enjoy your visit at NOR Restaurant observation deck located at the 36th floor of Bucharest SkyTower! The entrance tickets can be purchased at https://visit.skytower.ro/

Observation Deck

The SkyTower public observation deck is the loggia of NOR Restaurant (https://www.norbucharest.ro/en/), at the 36th floor of the tower at a height of 134 meters.
Shoot unique selfies, be amazed by the panoramic view, or share this unique view of Bucharest with your loved ones! When the sky is very clear, you can even see the tip of the mountains at more than 100 km away. And the night view of the city lights looks like a paradise of coloured lights.
It is known that once a year, Santa Claus climbs the SkyTower and then comes down the rope, to the delight of the viewers.
