Tallinn TV Tower Hosts Second Race of the WFGT Towerrunning Challenge 2026

The Tallinn TV Tower set the stage for an exciting second race of the WFGT Towerrunning Challenge 2026 on March 29, welcoming athletes from around the world to take on one of Estonia’s most iconic landmarks.

Following a strong season kickoff in Barcelona earlier this year, the challenge continued in Tallinn with a thrilling climb of 170 meters and 870 stairs leading to the observation deck.

A Strong International Competition

The race brought together talented runners competing for top podium positions in both the women’s and men’s categories.

With fast times and tight competition across both categories, the race at the Torre de televisão de Tallinn delivered an exciting second chapter of the 2026 season.

Towerrunning: A Global Challenge

The WFGT Towerrunning Challenge 2026 continues to bring together iconic towers and athletes across the globe, encouraging participants to “take the stairs, not the elevator” while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

With each race, participants not only push their physical limits but also experience the unique architecture and breathtaking views each tower has to offer.

What’s Next?

With the Tallinn TV Tower race successfully completed, the challenge now moves on to Dallas, where athletes will once again take on the stairs in pursuit of victory.
