Pillars of Progress and Connection

Towers have consistently shaped human society, serving diverse and critical roles throughout history.

Beyond their obvious function as impressive feats of engineering, they've been vital for defense and observation. Towers have also played a significant role in communication, from ancient lighthouses guiding ships to modern telecommunication towers connecting the world. Today, they symbolize civic pride and economic power, often defining city skylines as centers of commerce, culture, and residential life—profoundly influencing urban development and our collective sense of place. Millions of visitors scale the great towers of the Federation each year to admire the spectacular panoramas and these amazing architectural feats.

Each new tower strives to top the architectural achievements of those that came before them.

Modern ingenuity and technology now make it possible to reach incredible heights, with towers breaking records every few years. Most of the extraordinary buildings in WFGT have become iconic symbols of their cities.

Towers have acquired new purpose in communications and tourism.

The rise of the skyscraper paralleled the rise of telecommunications, and most towers in the Federation now host multiple transmitters. Attracting tourists is now central to tower operations, with offerings that include rides, revolving restaurants, exhibitions, business conventions, wedding venues, and other attractions.
