Oriental Pearl Tower
Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower, 468m high above the natural ground level, is the highest tower in Asia, the third in the world, next to the CN Tower and the Ostankino Tower.
Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower is located at the tip of Lujiazui, by the side of Huangpu River, just opposite to the world famous Bund of Shanghai. Considering the geographical location and the historic role of Shanghai, the designers with brilliant idea have organized 11 large and small spherical buildings at different heights together with some ground facilities, standing out among green trees and lawns, creating a poetic concept of "Big and small pearls drop onto a jade plate".
