John Hancock Center
John Hancock Center opened in 1970. It is the world's tallest mixed-use building. Standing 1,455.5 feet (443.6 metres) to the top of its twin antennas, John Hancock Center is located on the "Magnificent Mile" in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
This 100 storey icon consists of 2,802,147 square feet containing commercial offices, 703 condominiums, retail stores, restaurants, observatory deck, broadcast facilities and a 750 car indoor parking garage.
The Hancock Observatory is located on the 94th floor, at 1,029 feet (313.6 metres), where on a clear day you can see four states. With the fastest elevators in North America travelling at 1,800 feet (548.6 metres) per minute your ride to the top will take visitors only 40 seconds.
